Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 25 June 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all customers and end users of SoulHoster ("the Service"). It defines what you may and may not do with AI agents deployed through our platform. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

2. Permitted uses

You may use SoulHoster to build and operate AI agents for lawful purposes, including:

  • Customer support and helpdesk automation
  • Internal productivity and knowledge-base assistants
  • Developer tooling and code assistance
  • Product onboarding and guided walkthroughs
  • Data summarisation and document analysis
  • Any other lawful, non-deceptive application that complies with this AUP and our Terms of Service

3. Prohibited uses

You may not use SoulHoster — and may not permit your end users to use it — for any of the following:

3.1 Illegal and harmful content

  • Generating, distributing, or facilitating child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors
  • Producing content that incites, glorifies, or provides material support for violence, terrorism, or hate crimes
  • Creating instructions for the synthesis of chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapons
  • Facilitating human trafficking, exploitation, or modern slavery

3.2 Fraud and deception

  • Impersonating real individuals, companies, or institutions without authorisation
  • Operating phishing, scam, or social engineering campaigns
  • Generating disinformation, deepfakes, or synthetic media intended to deceive
  • Conducting fraudulent transactions or facilitating financial crime

3.3 Spam and abuse

  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages or spam via any channel
  • Generating fake reviews, ratings, or social media engagement at scale
  • Scraping third-party websites or services in violation of their terms of service
  • Artificially inflating usage metrics or circumventing rate limits

3.4 Security and infrastructure attacks

  • Probing, scanning, or exploiting vulnerabilities in SoulHoster or any third-party system
  • Conducting or assisting distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, or other malicious code
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any system, network, or data

3.5 AI model misuse

  • Attempting to jailbreak, bypass, or circumvent the safety measures of any upstream AI model provider
  • Using agents to extract training data, weights, or proprietary information from AI model providers
  • Violating the terms of service of your designated AI model provider (when using BYOK)

4. Your responsibility for end users

If you make SoulHoster-powered agents available to your own customers or end users, you are responsible for ensuring that they comply with this AUP. You must have your own usage policies in place and must not enable uses that would violate this AUP if performed directly by you.

5. Monitoring and enforcement

SoulHoster reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. We may:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation, with or without prior notice
  • Cooperate with law enforcement when legally required or when public safety is at risk
  • Remove or disable access to any content or agent that violates this policy

We do not actively monitor the content of agent conversations, but we may review usage patterns that indicate potential violations.

6. Reporting violations

If you become aware of a potential violation of this AUP, please report it to [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or the evolving AI landscape. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date above. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
